Remove the sliding screen door by tilting the top toward you then lifting it up out of the bottom track.

Just type lsailor1 in the youtube search bar. Keep lowering the panel until it is completely out of the upper track and free. Insert the screwdriver at the bottom to lift the rollers from the track. You will find the head stop attached to the top track of your sliding glass door.

You may like my other videos. In addition at the base of the door are rollers. If yours does you will need to use your screwdriver to remove this head stop. Once the door is completely loose from the frame set it aside somewhere safe such as against the side of the house or lying flat on a work bench.

This door will be heavy and may require you to use a sturdy pry bar to lift it enough for it to clear the track it s in. You ll find the sliding door easier to lift from its track if you slide it to the center of the track.

Remove the screws that hold the fixed door in place in the sliding door tracks. Remove the sliding glass door at the bottom of the track you ll see a slight indent that is intended for easy removal. Once you have removed the bottom of the screen door repeat the same with the upper portion of the screen door. Once you remove it be careful not to let the door fall over.
