Cut along the edge of the wall studs if. Stick the chisel in the centre of one tile and hit it with the hammer. Then use a utility knife or rotary grinder to scrape away the grout until the spacer lugs between the tiles are visible. And i don t care what any one says demo sucks.

Our shower room needs revamping. To remove wall tiles start by heating up the grout between the tiles with a blow dryer so it s easier to remove. Chip away the rounded bullnose tiles from the edge and top of a shower with a hammer and chisel. This should shatter the tile and you ll then be able to remove the individual pieces.

Step 4 pry the tile away from the wall gently using the putty knife or plaster spatula.
