In the fuse block behind the panel on the end of the dashboard driver s side you ll find two small black relays near the center of the fuse block.
Rear door locks on a gmc sierra wont unlock.
For some reason or another my back doors are starting to have a mind of their own.
Has anyone had this problem before or heard of this.
Before going through the process of replacing the actuator i want to make sure it hasn t just.
Those are the lock and unlock relays.
I m struggling to figure out which fuse number and box the right doors are wired to.
All doors except the drivers door lock the lights flash and the horn chirps for the alarm.

A closer looks it seem power gets reversed on the door latch coils to lock or unlock so both relays must be fully working no stuck contacts and the diodes must be good for the system to work.
The drivers door remains unlocked yet the security system is arme.
Its just the rear doors though.
Definately sounds like the lock relay.
Same relay in both positions so you can swap them and see if the problem reverses door locks but won t unlock.
If the truck sits for a period of time hour or longer it seems to work but not always.
